Healthy Homemade Applesauce

For a nice flavor twist, try adding a pear or two with the apples and use apple-cranberry or apple-pomegranate juice.

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients into a heavy bottomed saucepan and simmer over very low heat 20-30 minutes adding more apple juice as necessary to keep it from sticking
  2. Mash it up with a potato masher to desired consistency and serve
