Lentil Burgers

Yield 6 patties

Any kind of Veggies work well in this. You can use canned Lentils, but I plan this to have leftover lentils already cooked. Fry on the stovetop or bake in the oven

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Saute the Veggies in Olive Oil until tender
  2. Whirl one cup Lentils in the Vitamix with the Ketchup, Mustard and Soy Sauce until smooth
  3. Mix the Veggies, Cumin, Salt and Pepper with the whole Lentils, whirled Lentils and the Oats together in a large bowl
  4. You can add an Egg is you like
  5. Add more Oats if it is too soft
  6. Let sit about 10 minutes to firm up
  7. Form into Patties and Fry in Olive Oil or brown briefly and finish cooking in a 400f or 200c oven for 20 minutes until they are browned and hot in the middle
