A really fun way to let the kids create their own pasta dish. Use a variety of Vegetables, Herbs and Proteins. Lay it all out on a big board and let everyone choose how they want to make their pasta bowls.
Ingredients
Spaghetti or other pasta shapes (cooked al dente and tossed with a bit of olive oil)
Zucchini-cut into small moon shapes
Sun Dried or Fresh Tomatoes
Broccoli, lightly steamed
Kale or Spinach
Pre-Cooked Veggie or Chicken Sausages
Chicken, cooked and diced
Peas,
Olives
Red or Yellow Peppers, sliced
Onions or Leeks, sliced
Artichoke Hearts
Corn
Garlic, sliced
Capers
Pine Nuts
Toppings:
Fresh Herbs: Basil or Oregano
Pesto Sauce
Red Pasta Sauce
Olive Oil
Shaved Parmesan
Hot Pepper Flakes
Instructions
Lay all the ingredients on a big board
Let everyone add ingredients to a big bowl
Stir fry all the Vegetables and Pasta together in a large Wok or frying pan until heated through
Top with sauce or olive oil and a shred of parmesan cheese if desired
