I can’t take any credit for this amazing recipe. I saw it on Facebook a few days ago. This Balsamic Blooming Onion recipe is so brilliant. I love, love, love using red onions, but they can be a bit strong. This is an amazing way to prepare them, it makes them sweet and delicious and adds a soft, oniony and wonderful taste to other recipes when you use them in place of raw onions. They are fab on burgers and beautiful to look at. They are so easy to make, keep well and are one of my new favorite things to make and use all week.
