Welcome to my blog. I am a busy mom with a series of short and some not so short career successes and a few disasters behind me. My most recent career accomplishment was graduating from Tante Marie Culinary Academy. I recently moved back to Boise, Idaho from London. I keep busy trying to feed three kids two dogs, 1 cat and and a husband. I also juggle my part time career as a yoga teacher and bodyworker with full time blogging so I know how hard it is to cook healthy, whole food meals everyone will like when you are crunched for time.
Finding healthy recipes is easy. Planning, shopping, cooking and feeding a family healthy meals week after week is challenging. I hope you will find recipes and cooking tips here that will nourish and satisfy everyone in your family.
My menu plans are designed to be practical, healthy, flexible and most of all, taste good so everyone will be happy. If you don’t know how to sauté an onion or need a bunch of pictures of an onion sautéing, this is not the blog for you. I limit the pictures you have to scroll through and keep the recipes simple and adaptable. I cook mainly plant based, whole food recipes with fresh, organic all natural ingredients. I like to give options for adding extra protein. I also strive to make it easy to cut out the wheat and gluten in most of the recipes. The menu plans use cross over ingredients so prep time is easy, you can capitalize on seasonal ingredients and prepare a lot of the recipe ahead of time, saving money and cutting down on food waste.
I hope you find some inspiration to feed your whole family healthy, whole foods, week after week.
