Easy Dark Chocolate Pots
Ingredients
- 120 grams Dark Chocolate
- 2 Eggs, separated
- 1 Tbsp Grand Marnier or Champord
- 15 grams Butter
- 1 Tbsp Water
Instructions
Break up the Chocolate and place in a bowl over boiling water. Turn the heat off and let the chocolate melt over the hot water.
Beat the egg yolks with the liquor and water until well blended
Remove the chocolate from the heat and add the butter, stirring until melted
Beat the Egg Whites until stiff peaks form
When the egg whites are ready, stir together the yolk mixture and the chocolate mixing well. Gently fold this mixture into the whites until mixed through. If you add the yolks to the chocolate before the egg whites are ready, you will ruin it all.
Put into a pastry bag and pipe into flutes. Top with whipped cream and a berry coulis.
